AFC Show beats Eidsvoll 1814s, move to 1-1
On the 5th of May, 25 players wearing pink jerseys made history as they secured AFC Show's first ever win in the Norwegian top division.
After getting an early score against them, the AFC Show players rose to the occasion and scored 29 unanswered points to make it 29-7 before the Eidsvoll 1814s made a heroic attempt at a comeback which made the final score 29-21.
Defensive lineman Ole Petter Ølberg and TE/DL/LB Darryl Kennon were among the standout players on the day, Ølberg providing constant pressure on Eidsvoll's QB Dax Michelena, and Kennon being all over the field on both offense and defense, scoring 16 points in the process in addition to numerous tackles and sacks.

Loss in season opener despite halftime lead
AFC Show lost the season opener by 7 points after leading from early in the 1st quarter until early in the 4th. The lack of game experience became apparent as the Show had to see themselves defeated by a talented home team in Kristiansand.

Show faces 2011 vice-champion 1814's in Stavanger
AFC Show faces the daunting task of trying to secure a win against 2011 vice-champion Eidsvoll 1814's this weekend.
The 1814's have won 7 out of the last 8 Norwegian championships, but AFC Show still expect to be competitive against the veteran 1st Division side.
AFC Show, somewhat decimated due to players with other commitments this weekend, will bring our absolute best in an attempt to get our first win in 1st Division play.
Thank you!
This is a thanks to the Aarhus Tigers' players who took a roadtrip to Stavanger for our first home game, surprised their former teammate (and our current teammate) Jake Dembow, and helped us mark the field on their own initiative, in addition to being excellent noisy spectators - thank you!
