For the 2nd year in a row, AFC Show will work with the Tønsberg Raiders through a farm team deal

AFC Show and Tønsberg Raiders sign farm team deal for 2013 season

In 2012 AFC Show for the first time had a farm team deal, working with 2nd Division team Tønsberg Raiders. Due to the deal, the two organizations shared knowledge across club borders, had players play for eachother's teams, and saw some Tønsberg players join one of the two AFC Show training camps in the 2012 preseason.

Despite the geographical distance between the two clubs, WR Erik André Skorge from the Raiders played for AFC Show in 2012, and AFC Show's TE Aleksander Pettersen and OL/DL John Felipe Octavio Vindsetmo saw action for the Tønsberg Raiders. The two clubs hope to see the cooperation extend even further in 2013, with more players being exchanged between the two programs, as well as more Raiders players participating in both of AFC Show's preseason training camps.
The teams will also continue to share the Hudl software solution for film analysis.

For AFC Show this is an opportunity for some of the newer players that might not see a lot of playing time in the 1st Division right away to get some more game experience by playing for the Raiders in the 2nd Division. For the more ambitious Raiders' players it is an opportunity to test their skills at a higher level than the league where their team currently plays. It is both club's hope that the farm team deal is beneficial to the growth of football in our respective regions.
