With 2010 behind us and 2011 only days away, Pål Dannevig wins the 2010 AFC Show senior team MVP!

A proven winner
Dannevig has spent the last five months at San Diego State University, but returns in January to join his teammates for the 2011 campaign. The 2009 and 2010 starter at Quarterback for AFC Show, Pål Dannevig has proven to be a calm and collected leader both on and off the field, earning his teammates' and coaches' respect in the process.

Dannevig first came into contact with football when he spent a year in high school, where he was a kicker and receiver. Upon returning to Norway, he joined the team closest to his hometown, the Kristiansand Gladiators, where he played receiver and quarterback for their U-19 team. A very good handball player as well, Pål chose to join the AFC Show in 2009 after careful consideration - finding our program up to his standards.

In 2009 Dannevig became the starter, and proved to be an immediate success on the field with smart decisions, a strong and accurate arm, and fleet enough of foot to outrun many a defender.

In 2010 Dannevig progressed further, captaining his team to another winning season. He also took home the offensive MVP in the 2nd Division Championship game, impressing the spectators in Oslo with his passing skills as well as his excellent punting. He is clearly one to watch in the coming years.

We congratulate Pål with the 2010 MVP award! See some of the many 2010 Pål Dannevig highlights below:
