AFC Show kicked the ball off to the NTNUI Nidaros Domers to start the game, but after a good run on 1st down the Domers offense led by QB Johan Magnusson stalled. AFC Show's first drive suffered the same fate. A well-executed punt by Pål Dannevig made sure the Domers got pinned deep down in their own territory for another drive that didn't get very far. By now the Show offense was ready to roll, and after the two Simon's had alternated carrying the football, Simon Olsen scored his first touchdown of the season, and AFC Show's first ever TD in Trondheim. The two-point conversion was no good.

The Stavanger team once again stopped the Domers after a short drive, and the next AFC Show drive stretched into the first few seconds of the 2nd quarter before Jorma Bailey took a sweep 37 yards for the second score of the game. Once again the two-point conversion was no good despite the great catch by TE Darryl Kennon in the endzone that the referees saw differently, leaving the score at 12-0.

The following drive by the NTNUI Nidaros Domers turned out to be a short one, as Simon Bruset stepped in front of the pass by QB Magnusson and returned it all the way for a touchdown. For the third time in three attempts the two-point conversion was no good, and Show was in the lead 18-0.

Another Domers drive went three-and-out. The Show offense would itself follow with a three play drive, the difference being that the third play was a 30-yard touchdown strike from QB Pål Dannevig to WR Asbjørn Lindland, who caught the ball as he passed the goalline. Keeping up a newly started tradition, the two-point conversion was no good.

The Domers' next drive ended with a three-and-out, but drama was added on the punt return when PR Simon Bruset was tackled and then hurled out of bounds by a Domers defender and subsequently landed on a child sitting too close to the field. Fortunately the young spectator seemed to be okay despite the scare, and play could resume.

Starting at midfield, RB Bruset needed two handoffs to reach the endzone for a 30-0 lead. Kicker Truls Johansen finally got his first chance of the day, and the extra point attempt was good, leaving the score at 31-0, which would also be the halftime result.

The 2nd half started with AFC Show receiving the ball. A very short kick ended in the hands of lineman Karl Eivind Larsen who secured the ball and made sure the Show offense could start on a 60-yard march towards the endzone. The drive was capped by a TD run by RB Robert Schaper-Kotter, scoring one of his two TDs on the day. The home team answered with what was to become perhaps their best drive of the day, including a successful fake punt. However, their drive ended when the Show defense forced and recovered a Domers fumble. The Show offense was inspired by the solid defensive effort and drove 85 yards for the next touchdown, a 47-yard run by Jorma Bailey, his second TD of the day.

The Domers once again replied with a drive that looked to be going somewhere, but that was until DB Simon Bruset snatched his second pick-six of the day, racing approximately 50 yards to the endzone for another AFC Show score. The PAT by K Truls Johansen was wide. Nidaros got the ball back, but an unsuccessful fake punt ended their drive, giving the ball back to the Show. By now Show had many backups rotating in, including RB Vegard B. Sætre getting his first ever carry, an 8-yard gain. The drive ended with a TD plunge up the middle by RB Schaper-Kotter, with Truls Johansen adding the PAT for the last points of the day, making the final score 58-0 with a little less than one third of the 4th quarter to play.

"We came well prepared for this game, and it showed", AFC Show Head Coach Jarle Magnus Henriksen said, adding "Now we can turn our attention to two tough upcoming games in two weeks, which will surely test both our talent and our depth".

AFC Show's next game is at home versus undefeated and unscored upon league leaders Oslo Vikings at ISS Stadium in Stavanger, 2PM June 2nd.

After two long bye weeks, AFC Show travelled to Trondheim by plane to take on the NTNUI Nidaros Domers. The Domers started the season strong, but faded after an injury to their outstanding import QB, Dustin Hawke Willingham. They were looking to add their 2nd win of the season by beating the team in pink, but it was not to be.

AFC Show, identifying this as a critical game back in January, came with 29 players who were eager to show that the Stavanger team can win on the road as well. After two and a half hours in the sunny and warm "Dødens dal", AFC Show could celebrate a decisive 58-0 victory.

It was also Simon Olsen's return to Norwegian football fields after a year in the US, and he opened the scoring by rumbling through the Domers defense for a TD. The other Simon, Simon Bruset, made sure to get on the scoreboard as well, adding one TD as a RB and two pick-six'es as a DB.

Other fine performances were also on display, including Jorma Bailey's solid play on defense and great running on offense.
